Meir Zarchi's infamous rape/terror movie has long been unavailable in the UK (among other countries), and still to this day is under much debate.
A young female writer (Camille Keaton, an Italian movie regular) heads off to the remote countryside to relax and work on her latest piece, when she has the regretable misfortune to come across four nasty little shit's who go onto make her life a living hell. Stomach churning stuff as she brutally assaulted again and again.
This horror is allegedly justified by the revenge scenario that follows, when she exacts bloody revenge on each of her attackers one by one. Sadly though, their demises aren't as brutal and torturous as her suffering before (they really deserve to suffer).
All said and done though, this is a fascinating film, which will be of interest to genre fans. Yes it is unpleasant viewing, but that surely must show the quality of the actors (Camille in particular) and the production as a whole.
Presented in a detailed widescreen print, which is let down by muffly sound quality, and the trailer to boot to. For completists only.
