The chills keep coming as Keri O�Shea takes a trip to THE DEVIL�S ROCK and celebrates THE ANNIVERSARY AT SHALLOW CREEK while Marc Lissenburg checks out the gory Gallic charm of THE PACK.

The (low budget) corpses are coming thick and fast these days and some are even armed to the teeth as Stu Willis found when came face to face with FAST ZOMBIES WITH GUNS while Marc Lissenburg tackled the dead in all its forms with Metrodome�s DEAD UNDEAD and the prankster antics of the DING DONG DEAD. With the release of exploitation gem DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK, twisted twin filmmakers Jen and Sylvia Soska have shown the world that they�re not only passionate genre film fans but a formidable film talent to keep an eye out for; so our very own Stu Willis very much welcomed the opportunity to catch up with the Soska sisters to discuss Dead Hookers, cinematic inspirations and incoming projects in our exclusive SGM interview.

Following a much applauded screening at this year�s Dead By Dawn Festival, Stu Willis checks out the DVD release of Sion Sono�s masterpiece COLD FISH to see what all the fuss is about. The following the deranged fishy fun Stu heads out to sea to contemplate the Matchbox Films release of SIREN before kicking back for some �cabin in the woods� misadventures in Vicious Circle Films DAWNING. Stu finds that independent cinema is alive and kicking as he checks out Peccadillo Pictures release of THE OWLS whilst B-movie mayhem is still the order of the day as he goes on the TRAIL OF THE SCREAMING FOREHEAD before kicking back with a good book as FAB Press deliver the goods yet again with Nathaniel Thompson�s DVD DELIRIUM VOLUME 2 REDUX.

The Dead Rise and Vintage Shocks!

It seems the undead are still all the rage and it�s always a brain munching pleasure to see zombie rise from the grave from Italy so Stu Willis gets ready for gore with EATERS: RISE OF THE DEAD then it�s time for some US undead fun with the gut munchingly fun spoof STRIPPERLAND! while Marc Lissenburg digs up graves closer to home with Brit shocker ZOMBIE DIARIES 2: WORLD OF THE DEAD. Following the recent re-release of Witchfinder General, Nic Cage gets in on the action with his own SEASON OF THE WITCH which inevitably leads Marc to hunt down some vintage horror fun by way of the Claude Rains chiller THE CLAIRVOYANT and Ealing classic THE HALFWAY HOUSE.

Dead Hookers, Killer Kids and Witch Burning Fun!

We kick off with a British horror classic making its blu-ray debut as Al Sex Gore gets ready to burn some witches whilst watching Odeon Entertainment�s release of WITCHFINDER GENERAL whilst Stu Willis is off on his travels as he visits Spain to ask the Eureka question WHO CAN KILL A CHILD? before settling on the far easier proposition of facing a DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK. That said, the movie action tone gets low as Stu dons a cape to get CROSS while Marc Lissenburg faces a great plague in DEMONS RISING and some delightful After Dark shocks in FERTILE GROUND.

Sexy Swedes, Poe, Karloff and Apocalyptic War!

Classics come in many forms but none so mouth-watering for Stu Willis as Optimum�s new blu-ray box set for the seminal Coppola classic APOCALYPSE NOW and Sam Peckinpah�s bloody opus CROSS OF IRON while Raro Video make their mark on the US market with Italian treat ADUA AND HER FRIENDS. Classics of a vintage nature next as Marc Lissenburg joins Boris Karloff on the ISLE OF THE DEAD and Keri O�Shea waxes lyrical about her love for all things Poe as she checks out a double bill of THE TELL-TALE HEART/THE OVAL PORTRAIT while Stu settles back with some classic of a more adult nature as he spends some time savouring THE USCHI DIGARD COLLECTION.

Indie Update � The Good, Bad and Gruesome!

Independent genre cinema can often be a mixed bag; sometimes good, sometimes great and on occasions just plain awful; but ever the stalwart supporters of everything indie Team SGM always welcome the opportunity to check out the latest low budget home video goodness so Stu Willis kicks business off with the retro-styled exploitation fun of PSYCHO HOLOCAUST and Creep Creepersin�s HE then it�s time for a double helping of Troma licensed terror trash with the serial killer slasher EYES OF THE CHAMELEON and Marc checks out sea faring shocker KILLER YACHT PARTY. Wrapping up the indie fun Marc takes time out to meet DEATH ANGEL DECEMBER � VENGEANCE while Keri loses the will to live as she lifts THE STONE: NO SOUL UNTURNED.

Marc Lissenburg meantime ponders the wonder that is Misty Mundae with the AN EROTIC VAMPIRE IN PARIS COLLECTION and the absurdly titled SKIN EATING JUNGLE VAMPIRES.
