'Broken' has Arrived!
Broken

It's not often that the team at SGM virtually implode at just how stunning a new horror movie is, but when we viewed new indie Brit horror gem 'Broken' we knew we had just seen one of the finest horror movies produced in quite some time.

Following its massive success at the recent 'Dead By Dawn' Festival screening and ahead of its showing at 'Fright Fest' SGM's Stu Willis takes time out to not only review this must see horror event but also kick back and interview writer/directors Adam Mason and Simon Boyes along with lead femme fatale Nadja Brand - check it out!

Three Tickets To Hell on DVD!

Giallo goodness!Regular SGM readers should be familiar with the work of the talented Darren Ward (of 'Sudden Fury' fame), well the good news is that the upcoming director is currently seeking to start work on his second full length feature 'Nightmares' (based on his successful short film with the same name). The bad news as ever with indie genre features is that he's still somewhat short of funding to get things rolling. So what has that got to do with you the SGM reader? Well, unless you are a canny investor with some cash to spare (if you are the team there want to hear from you too!) you can still help the folk there out by purchasing a copy of the long overdue DVDR release of Darren Ward's 'Three Tickets To Hell' - previously only ever released on tape in Germany back in the heyday of horror video (remember that!?) this rarely seen treat packages three early shorts by Ward including 'Bitter Vengeance' (the precursor for 'Sudden Fury'), 'Blue Fear' (Ward's Argento inspired giallo) and 'Paura Il Diavolo' (a blood filled demonic romp) into a 2 hour long low budget horror treat! Expect a full review here at SGM soon, but meantime you can do your bit for indie filmmaking by ordering a copy now at the Giallo Films website here.
